KIEV, Sept. 11 – The council of the National Bank of Ukraine has adopted changes to the NBU financial plans for 2009 and 2010 which set the central bank's revenues surplus over expenditures at UAH 600 million this year and at UAH 4 billion next year, council head Petro Poroshenko said.
The NBU council head explained that a drastic shrinking of the bank's revenue surplus is connected with the NBU foreign currency credits to the tune of $1.1 billion issued to the government in 1993-1996.
