KIEV, Sept. 9 - Ukraine raised iron ore exports 9.1% to 16.626 million tons in January-August compared to the same period of 2008, Ukrrudprom, the association of Ukrainian mining enterprises, told Interfax.

Iron ore concentrate exports soared 65.4% to 7.318 million tons and pellets were up 7.1% to 6.201 million tons, however sinter ore exports plummeted 38.6% to 3.048 million tons and sinter exports declined 2% to 59,200 tons.
