KIEV, Sept. 7 – Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko has said he is confident that the finals of the Euro 2012 European Football Championship will be successfully held in Ukraine.

Speaking to Poland's TVP television company and Rzeczpospolita newspaper, Yushchenko said that there were no problems with the development of Ukraine's sporting infrastructure. He also said that Ukraine had been handling work on the reconstruction of roads and the development of tourist infrastructure.
