KIEV, Sept. 4 – The Ukrainian government over the first eight months of 2009 cut the revenues target of the national budget by UAH 17.03 billion, according to a posting on the presidential website.
"In August, the downward adjustment against the primary monthly revenues targets of the general fund drawn up by the Finance Ministry in early 2009 was UAH 6.6 billion, or a 30.4% cut. In eight months, the revenues target was trimmed by UAH 17.033 billion, or 14.8%," reads an analytical note of the chief social and economic development service of the presidential secretariat.
