KIEV, Sept. 3 – Ukraine has agreed with Libya to sign contracts to cooperate in the military and technical sector, Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko said during a visit to Libya on Thursday.
"All of the details in the contracts have been discussed, and cooperation between Ukraine and Libya has received the highest political support," Tymoshenko said after a meeting with Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi, the Ukrainian government's press service reported.
The premier praised the talks held with the Libyan leader.
"This meeting was dedicated to the discussion of the contracts … and I'm sure they will be signed soon," Tymoshenko said.
