KIEV, Aug. 28 – The deficit of Ukraine’s national budget in January-July 2009 came to UAH 15.352 billion, growing by 44.8% or UAH 4.748 billion.

A posting on the Web site of Ukraine’s Finance Ministry says that the deficit of the budget’s general fund in January-July 2009 reached UAH 17.877 billion, which is UAH 3.805 billion up from H1.

The ministry said that the country’s consolidated budget, which includes the national budget and local budgets, over seven months ending July 2009 posted a deficit of UAH 17.837 billion.
