KIEV, Aug. 25 – Imports of coking coal in Ukraine grew by 36% year-over-year since early 2009 mainly due to supplies from Russia, and the position of domestic metal companies and Ukrkoks association bears scrutiny, according to Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko.

"We open heart to them, and they increased imports by 36%," she said at an enlarged meeting on the coal sector in Kiev on Tuesday.
