KIEV, Aug. 25 – The World Bank is ready to consider the allocation of $350 million as its next loan to Ukraine, World Bank Director for Ukraine, Belarus and Moldova Martin Raiser said in an interview with the Dzerkalo Tyzhnia (Mirror Weekly) newspaper.
"The fact that we agreed to allocate the first [loan of] $400 million under the programmatic financial rehabilitation loan project indicates that we managed to produce good results in cooperation with the government and the NBU [National Bank of Ukraine]. We're working in a rather constructive way," he said.
