KIEV, July 21 – Swiss-based Ukrenergy Holding AG, 52% of which belongs to state-run electricity exporter and importer Ukrinterenergo, has been authorized to acquire Zomar Spolka Akcyjna (Chelm), which supplies electricity in Poland and which has been a long-term importer of Ukrainian electricity.
Antimonopoly Committee reported it allowed Ukrenergy Holding to buy over a 50% stake in Zomar's capital.
The Swiss holding secured a similar permit from the Polish antimonopoly agency.
