KIEV, July 20 – The deficit of the state sector in 2010 is expected at up to 4% of GDP, taking into account the calculations of the International Monetary Fund, reads a posting on the Web site of the Ukrainian Finance Ministry.
"Taking into account the adjusted forecast of macroeconomic indicators for 2010, which takes into account a certain improvement in the situation on the foreign markets and a gradual resumption of economic growth in Ukraine, and the forecast of budget revenues, the deficit of the state sector using the IMF's calculation methods next year would be no more than 4% of GDP [nominal GDP is expected at UAH 1055 billion]," reads the report.
