KIEV, July 14 - Ukraine's united energy system reduced electricity output by 15.7% (15.686 billion kilowatt hours) to 83.977 billion kilowatt hours in H1, the Fuel and Energy Ministry announced.

In the first half of the year, nuclear power plantsreduced electricity output by 4% to 40.963 billion kilowatt hours, heat generating stations and combined heat and thermal plants of the ministry - 21.2% t0 32.779 billion kilowatt hours, local CHPs and block stations - by 16.8% to 3.686 billion kilowatt hours and hydroelectric plants - 0.2% to 6.549 billion kilowatt hours.
