KIEV, July 9 – The original forecasts of a reduction in the capacity of Ukraine's insurance market were more pessimistic than actual results showed in the first half of 2009, say the world's largest reinsurance companies.
As British-based Oakeshott Insurance Consultants, an insurance and reinsurance brokerage firm, said in a statement, the current situation on Ukraine's insurance market, and prospects for further cooperation in the sphere of providing reinsurance protection to Ukrainian insurance companies, were discussed at meetings with managers and underwriters of Swiss-based Partner Re and the supervisor of the work of the global reinsurer SCOR (France), Fabrice de Dianous.
