KIEV. July 9 - Production of natural gas in Ukraine went up by 3.4% year-on-year to 10.8 billion cubic meters in H1 while oil output shrank by 2.9% to 2.1 million tons, the Fuel and Energy Ministry said.

Naftogaz Ukrayiny increased gas output by 2.9% to 9.9 bcm while lowering oil production, along with gas condensate, by 0.9% to 1.9 million tons.

Other Ukrainian enterprises in the period increased gas output by 9.6% to 925.8 million cubic meters while oil production, along with gas condensate, went down by 24.6% to 140,700 tons.
