KIEV, July 9 – The sales of new cars in Ukraine in June 2009 fell by 78% year-over-year, to 11,200 cars, the AUTO-Consulting information and analytical group has reported.

According to the group's experts, the car market will not reach the previous indicators. And it is worth expecting further sales falling.

According to the company, in spite of the experts' forecasts, the sales of cars produced by the leader of sales, AvtoVAZ, continue falling, first of all, due to high prices. In June Lada cars occupied 14.8% of sales on the domestic market, and Hyundai occupied 10.6% due to attractive price programs.
