KIEV, July 7 – Korsan Ltd., an arm of the Privat Group, paid UAH 2.1 billion to for buying a 18.296% stake Ukraine’s largest oil refinery Ukrtatnafta, Valeriy Korneliak, the head of Ukrtatnafta's legal department, said.

The acquisition increases penetration of Privat into Ukraine’s oil sector. The group now controls three Ukrainian oil refineries, Ukraine’s largest oil producer UkrNafta and a chain of gasoline stations among other assets.
