KIEV, June 23 – Parliament on June 23 approved a law which restricts currency lending to individuals, according to Stanislav Arzhevitin, first deputy head of the parliamentary committee for finance and banking activities and the head of the council of the Association of Ukrainian Banks (AUB).
"Currency crediting of individuals is banned, apart from that required for medical treatment and education," he told Interfax-Ukraine on Tuesday.
Arzhevitin said that the possibility of crediting of individual businessmen remains, although only in a cashless form.
