KIEV, June 23 – The storage of pornography for personal use or by medical specialists for medical purposes, may not be a reason for the institution of criminal proceedings under a recent law passed by Parliament.
According to an explanation published on the Justice Ministry website, the revisions to Article 301 of the Criminal code, given overwhelming parliamentary support (by 343 out of 428 MPs) when it came to a vote on June 11, recognizes personal privacy issues while imposing limits and penalties upon pornography.
