KIEV, June 19 – Ukraine should take a well-deserved place in a united Europe, President Viktor Yushchenko said at a plenary meeting of the 16th Summit of Central European Heads of State in Novi Sad in Serbia.

He underlined that the Ukrainian side could not agree to any attempts to find for Ukraine, as well as for other countries of the region, a place in a so-called "sphere of influence" and draw new dividing lines on the European continent.
