KIEV, June 22 - The Ukrainian president's commissioner for international energy security, Bohdan Sokolovsky, has met with U.S. delegates headed by U.S. Special Envoy for Eurasian Energy Richard Morningstar.

The meeting was held at the initiative of the U.S. side, the presidential press service reported on Saturday.

The participants in the meeting discussed bilateral and multilateral cooperation in the context of ensuring national and international energy security. They focused on the urgent situation with the supplies and transit of Russian gas.
