KIEV, June 15 – The current electricity rates on the domestic market won't yield serious profits from its export, according to Director General of Donetsk-based Donbas Fuel-Energy Company (DTEK) Maksym Tymchenko.
"If one exports electricity to Hungary and Romania, they may speak about [electricity] sales at a wholesale market-oriented price. However, one cannot of course earn a serious profit on electricity exports today," he said in an interview published in the Delo daily newspaper on Monday.
