KIEV, June 11 - Cement plants in the Ukrcement association cut cement production by 57.7% in Q1 compared Q1 2008, to 1.097 million tons, while the total cement production fall in the industry was 59.6% (1.306 million tons), according to the association.

Ukrcement's cement plants cut clinker production by 62.1% compared to January - March 2008. The decline of total clinker production in the industry for the period was 69.5%.
