KIEV, June 11 - EnergoAtom cut electricity generation in January to May by 14.3% or by 5.829 billion kWh year-on-year, to 34.903 billion kWh, EnergoAtom announced.

In the five months, the electricity generation target was over-fulfilled by 1.7%.

Zaporizhia NPP in January to May 2009 cut electricity generation by 7%, to 15.994 billion kWh, and Khmelnytsky NPP cut generation by 13.3%, to 5.252 billion kWh, while Rivne NPP cut electricity generation by 16.2%, to 6.263 billion kWh, and Yuzhnoukrainsk NPP, taking into account Tashlyk hydro power plant and Oleksandrivka hydro power plant, cut electricity generation by 26.2%, to 7.394 billion kWh.
