KIEV, June 11 – The Ukrainian air conditioner market, taking into account household and semi-industrial split systems, in 2009 could fall by some 60% year-over-year, to 160,000 units, the director of Kyiv-based Leacond Company, the official sales partner of Japan's producer of Daikin airconditioning equipment, Volodymyr Stepur has said.

He said the household split system market in 2009 would fall by 50-60% year-over-year, to 150,000-185,000 units, and that for semi-industrial systems – by 60-70%, to 4,000-5,600 units.
