KIEV, June 10 – President Viktor Yushchenko supports the financing of social programs in 2009 using additional inflation revenues of the national budget, which would appear due to the underestimated government forecast for consumer price growth.
"There will not be 9.5% inflation [as forecasted by the cabinet]. It's obvious that the cabinet's inflation revenues will be large... We'll send them to most vulnerable social programs, which concerns the majority – pensioners," he said at a press conference on Tuesday.
