DONETSK, June 9 – The prosecutor's office of Donetsk region has opened a criminal case on the violation of safety regulations in connection with an accident that occurred at a Donetsk mine on June 8 that killed at least six people.

The investigation department of the prosecutor's office is conducting a prejudicial inquiry, the prosecution's press service said on Tuesday.
