KIEV, June 4 – Over 2.5 million tons of coal worth around UAH1.5 billion are stored at warehouses of state companies that are under control of the Ukrainian Coal Ministry, Coal Minister Viktor Poltavets said.

"Coal is sold rather difficultly... Today, we can say that we sell only 50% of products for energy companies... and at warehouses of state companies, which are under control of the ministry, over 2.5 million tons of coal has been accumulated. These are funds worth UAH1.5 billion," Poltavets said.
