ZAPORIZHIA, May 28 – The suspension of construction of new bridges over the Dnipro River is a catastrophe for Zaporizhia, according to Zaporizhia Mayor Yevhen Kartashov.

"A delay in the construction of bridges could lead to a transport collapse in Zaporizhia. If there were less politics with our bridges and more pragmatism, we would have finishing the construction. Today, MPs promise to adjust the budget. We hope that central authorities will not allow a halt to the construction of bridges in Zaporizhia," Kartashov said.
