KIEV, May 21 – The crisis in the Ukrainian banking system could worsen in the fall if the situation with industrial production in the country worsens, according to analysts from the DAGDA research company.
"With the worsening of the situation in the economy by the end of the year in a certain form, another 20-30 banks could announce their insolvency, which won't be settled through refinancing or a slight increase in their own capitals," reads a company release, referring to a survey of Ukrainian banks carried out in Q1.
