KIEV, May 15 - Oil transit via Ukrainian pipelines in January to April came to 10.593 million tons, which is 6.5% or 737,100 tons less year-over-year, the Ukrainian Fuel and Energy Ministry announced.

Oil pumping to Ukrainian oil refineries over the period under review grew by 32.5% or 719,200 tons, to 2.93 million tons. Total oil transportation through the Ukrainian pipeline system in January to April 2009 fell only by 0.1% or 17,900 tons, to 13.523 million tons.
