DNIPROPETROVSK, May 14 – Ukrainian metals companies will be non-competitive on foreign and domestic markets in the post-crisis period, according to Vasyl Kharakhulakh, director general of Dnipropetrovsk-based Metalurhprom industrial association.
"Today, driven by various reasons, de facto the production cost of metals products at Ukrainian companies is higher compared to Russian, Chinese and, in some products, Turkish companies. In six months to a year, metal production and consumption levels will stabilize.
