DNIPROPETROVSK, May 14 – The highest level of daily metal production at Ukrainian metals companies this year was registered in February, the director general of Dnipropetrovsk-based Metalurhprom industrial association, Vasyl Kharakhulakh, said at a meeting of representatives of mining and metals companies of Ukraine held in Dnipropetrovsk on Wednesday.

He said that average daily cast iron production in April fell by 2,600 tons against March, to 64,300 tons, and in four months cast iron output came to 65,400 tons compared to 100,500 tons year-over-year.
