KIEV, May 5 - President Viktor Yushchenko on May 5 urged his political rival, Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko, to immediately unblock a project allowing supplies of Caspian Sea crude oil via the country to the European Union.
Yushchenko, who met government officials and oil industry executives, said the move was needed to secure Ukraine’s role in delivering alternative to Russia’s oil supplies to the EU.
