KIEV, April 24 – The Ukrainian new imported car market in 2009 could fall by some 60% compared to 2008, to around 200,000 cars, according to Oleksiy Tereschenko director of strategic development at Atlant-M Automobile Holding.
"We think that in next months, sales would stabilize at the low level. Surges in sales of brands are possible, as some importers have large stocks of cars at their warehouses. With the improvement of the situation in the country, the market would gradually start growing," he told the press on Thursday.
