KIEV, April 21 – Ukraine's government is ready to start discussing financial issues in the energy sector with Japan's Sumitomo and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko said at a meeting with the Japanese corporate representatives in Kiev on Tuesday.
"Today we're also ready to discuss approaches to funding, which are based on the financial resources foreseen in Ukraine's budget, in the stabilization fund. Secondly, these are the funds received from the sale of our emission reduction units under the Kyoto Protocol. Besides, Ukraine's budget envisages state guarantees for attracting investments," she said.
