KIEV, April 22 – The Ukrainian government is ready to consider returning to state ownership those private coal producers that are unable to work effectively under the conditions of a global financial crisis, Deputy Coal Minister Anatoliy Korzun said.

"We are ready to consider the return of private mines to state administration," he said at a briefing on the non-payment of wages to employees at the private mine Kommunarska Mine No. 22 (Donetsk region) last Saturday.
