KIEV, April 21 – Ukrainians most of all trust the church (62.2%), the army (28.7%) and the police (16.4%), while the president (5.4%), political parties (3.2%) and the Verkhovna Rada, Ukraine’s parliament (2.7%) are the least trusted by Ukrainian citizens, according to a poll conducted by GfK Ukraine from March 1 through March 15.
GfK Ukraine said that as of March, Ukrainians had the least trust in political institutions. The level of trust in the president has fallen since November 2008 by 3.9 points to 5.4%, which is the biggest decline registered among all institutions.
