KIEV, April 8 – The Ukrainian government has prolonged until July 1 a set of measures it promulgated in October aimed at stabilizing the country’s mining, metals and chemical sector, Economy Minister Bohdan Danylyshyn announced.
"Actually resolution No. 925 was to expire on April 1, 2009. The government considered the situation in the mining, metals and chemical sectors at various angles, and decided to prolong the resolution for Q2 2009, until July 1, 2009," he said.
