KIEV, April 6 – The average forecast of Ukraine's GDP growth in 2010 is 1.7%, the Economy Ministry reported, citing its evaluation summary of Ukrainian and international experts' projections as of April 2.
"The considerable difference in the projections made by participants in a workshop on the development of Ukraine's economy in 2010 is due to the variation of changes in real GDP from 'minus' 3% to 'plus' 7.5%. However, most of experts forecast the restoration of economic growth… According to the consensus forecast, in 2010 real GDP will grow by 1.7%," reads the report.
