KIEV, April 6 – Ukraine's 2009 budget deficit will be 2.9-6.1% of GDP, according to analysts from Ukrainian investment companies polled by Interfax-Ukraine.
Concorde Capital analysts were the most pessimistic. According to their calculations, the deficit of Ukraine’s national budget this year could be UAH 62 billion or 6.1% of GDP. Troika Dialog said it would be 5%, Astrum Investment Management said it would be in the 3-5% range.
