CRIMEA, March 30 - Donetsk-based Altcom financial and industrial group on March 28 started building the Altcem cement plant in Pryozerne in Crimea with a production capacity of three million tons of clinker per year.

"Today we start a new stage of the cement industry in Ukraine," the board chairman of the group, Oleksandr Tislenko, said at a press conference before the start of the foundation stone laying ceremony.
