KIEV, March 27 – The Ukrainian government has agreed to a proposal from Kiev City State Administration on the registration of commitments on credits received from banks to cover short-term cash gaps of the general fund of the Kiev city budget worth UAH 1.2 billion in ordinary bills of exchange, which would mature in up to two years.

According to cabinet resolution No. 308 of March 25, published on Thursday, the credits should be sent to a separate account of the State Treasury with at least UAH 924.22 million sent to Kyivenergo's account at the State Treasury for payment of the company's debts to the national JSC Naftogaz Ukrayiny.
