KIEV, March 26 – Europe has not yet simplified the visa regime for Ukraine, and this requires Kiev to defend the interests of Ukrainians, particularly through the possible restoration of the visa regime for EU citizens, Presidential Secretariat Chairman Viktor Baloha said.

He was quoted as saying on Thursday that after talks between Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko and the leadership of the Czech Republic, the current holders of the EU presidency, in Prague, Ukraine had not received any positive answer on its visa facilitation aspirations.
