KIEV, March 23 – Experts from Kiev-based A-95 Consulting Group forecast that retail prices for fuel in Ukraine in late March will fall due to the favorable situation on the wholesale market and the growing strengthening of light fuel consumption, according to a company press release.
The conclusions of the experts are based on an analysis of data from the State Statistics Committee, according to which the pace of fall in the industrial consumption of petrol and diesel fuel accelerated in February: diesel fuel consumption fell by 26.5% or 67,500 tons compared to February 2008, while petrol consumption dropped by 22.5% or 21,200 tons.
