BRUSSELS, March 18 - Kiev is working to get the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the European Investment Bank to invest in modernizing the Ukrainian gas transportation system, said Deputy Foreign Minister Konstiantyn Yeliseyev.

Total project investment is estimated by Ukraine at around $2 billion.

Yesileyev chaired the Ukrainian delegation at the previously held talks in Brussels on preparations for the donor conference to modernize the Ukrainian gas transportation due on March 23.
