KIEV, March 17 – An application to hear a case on the transit of Russian natural gas through Ukraine submitted by Russia's OAO Gazprom to the Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce regarding January's "gas war" has not been withdrawn.

The Dzerkalo Tyzhnya weekly newspaper said that according to documents available to the newspaper, on Jan, 16, before the signing of gas agreements between the national JSC Naftogaz Ukrayiny and OAO Gazprom, Gazprom submitted an appeal to the Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce. The dispute is over the transit of Russian natural gas through Ukraine, according to the Gazprom appeal.
