KIEV, March 13 - Ukraine’s second largest steelmaker, Illych Metallurgical Company, resumed construction of a pulverized-coal injection facility for its blast furnaces in order to reduce consumption of natural gas, the company reported.

The construction was suspended in November 2008 after the company’s revenue had fallen sharply during the peak of the production decline caused by the global financial crisis.
