KIEV, March 12 – The number of Ukrainians ready to take part in protests has increased over the last three months, according to a poll conducted by the Razumkov Centre for Economic and Political Studies from Feb. 27 through March 2, 2009.
Some 14.4% of respondents are ready to take part in at least one illegal protest action involving the use of force (blocking traffic on roads and railways; street riots; creation of armed formations independent from the president and the government) the director for sociological service of the Razumkov Center, Andriy Bychenko said while presenting the results of the poll at a press conference in Kiev on Thursday.
