LUHANSK, March 11 – Luhansk region is considering constructing a wind power plant, said Mykhailo Malevany, deputy director general of Luhansk energy Amalgamation Ltd.

He said the development of the project is at the initial stage.

"Today, we're at the first stage. We know that there is wind and we have a developed power transmission network. We have space on the Donetsk chain of hills, which cannot be used for farming," Malevany said.
