KIEV, March 5 - Ukraine reduced coal production approximately 10.5% year-on-year in January-February to 11.823 million tons, the Coal Ministry told Interfax.

Coking coal production fell 21.5% to just over 3.7 million tons, and steam coal fell 4.5% to 8.127 million tons.

Coal production was still 6.5% above the target set by the Coal Ministry, including 13.5% above for coking coal and 3.7% for steam coal.
