KIEV, March 2 – The recapitalization of banks, involving the state, needs more coordination of actions between the government and the National Bank of Ukraine, the International Monetary Fund said.
"We believe it is very important to appoint a high-level official, authorized by all coalition partners, to coordinate together with the National Bank of Ukraine the implementation of the Bank Resolution Strategy," IMF Mission Chief to Ukraine Ceyla Pazarbasioglu said during a conference call on Ukraine late on Friday, the transcript of which was posted on the fund's official Web site on Monday.
